Construction crews established a presence at the foot of the Grand Ecore Bridge on the Clarence side last week. The project will bore a 30-inch pipeline under Red River to replace the overhead pipeline. A directional boring rig will be utilized for the project. Sources say once the underground pipe is in place the overhead pipes, in background above, will be removed.
