The City of Natchitoches and the Natchitoches Main Street Program invites the public to participate the Sixth Annual “Crows on the Cane” Scarecrow Contest Oct. 17-18.
Crows on the Cane is an opportunity for individuals, families, businesses, clubs and organizations to contribute to the beauty of the Natchitoches Historic District. Cash prizes will be awarded to first-third place winners.
Crows on the Cane entry forms can be picked up at the Main Street Office located at 781 Front Street or online at www.natchitochesla.gov or at www.natchitochestimes.com.
Entry forms must be turned in to the Main Street Office no later than Friday, Oct. 13. Check-in and set up for Crows on the Cane will be Oct. 17-18 from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Natchitoches Main Street Office located at 781 Front St.
Participants may pickup any personal items they would like to keep from their scarecrow displays Friday, Nov. 3 at the City Nursery located at 500 6th St.
Any items not picked up by Thursday, Nov. 9 will be thrown away.
