Happy birthday to those with birthdays in October. Kennedy Metoyer had her third birthday Saturday, Sept. 30 at the home of her parents, Kiel and Keisha Metoyer. Kennedy is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Glenna Metoyer and the great granddaughter of Janet Jones. The Metoyers live in Dallas. The Natchitoches Parish Council on Aging Volunteer of the month is Helen Sapp. Board member helpers are Michael Lewis and Idell Snowden. Bingo at the council is Monday and Friday at 9 a.m. Everyday is second cup of coffee.

Chair aerobics is everyday at 10:15 .am. Tai chi is Tuesday and Thursday at 10:45 and Wednesday at 9 a.m. for beginners. Computer classes are Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. Blood pressure check is at 9 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Our bishop, the Most Reverend David Talley, said Mass at St. Ann and St. Augustine Sunday, Oct. 1 and dedicated and blessed our newly enhanced sanctuaries.

After Mass, a banquet was held in the church hall.
