Margaret Allan Rodger Roberts, fondly known as Nanny, died peacefully at her home in Shreveport Oct. 18, 2017, at the age of 79.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24 at Oak Grove Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m..
Nanny was born March 10, 1938 in Natchitoches. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.D. Allen and Ruby Stephens Allen, two siblings and one grandson.
She is survived by her husband, James Roberts; children, David Rodgers, Deborah McDavid and husband Gene, Cindy Holyfield and husband Crosby, and Charlotte Farino and husband Ed; four step-children; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Gene McDavid, Daniel McDavid, Derek McDavid, Randell Roberts, Shannon Roberts and Kevin Roberts.
