A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 911 5th St., Natchitoches, Saturday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m.
Burial with military honors will take place immediately following the Mass in the Catholic Cemetery on 5th Street. The remains will lie in state at the church for public visitation from 8-9:30 a.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow. The Rev. John O’Brien, Pastor, will celebrate the Mass. Final care arrangements under the direction of Winnfield Memorial Funeral Home.
Herbert Simon was born Aug. 12, 1920, in Natchitoches to the late Charles and Ida Simon. He was the second of five children.
