A funeral service to honor the life of Wallace Wesley Prestridge will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at United Baptist Church in Campti with Bro. Ricky Feazell and Bro. Mike Honzell officiating. Burial will follow at United Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 at the funeral home, and again on the day of the service from 10 a.m. until service time at United Baptist Church of Campti.
Wesley “Mr.P” Prestridge, 77, of Natchitoches, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, surrounded by those who loved him. Wesley attended United Baptist Church of Campti and was instrumental in the construction of their new church facility. He was a builder and contractor by trade. Mr. P was loved by many and respected by all in his professional business. He is and will always be missed but always remembered as a loving husband, caring father, great friend and wonderful grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor Prestridge; son, Keven Prestridge and wife Lisa; daughter, Debbie Davis and husband Doug; sister, Loyce “Topsy” Huff; granddaughter, Hailey; grandson, Heath Sanders; and great-grandson, Logan.
A special thanks to the loving, caring and supportive workers at the Courtyard of Natchitoches, along with Dr. Ingram and many others who helped and supported Mr.P along his journey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northwestern Louisiana Cancer Center.
