The Gators wanted to give their home crowd a victory on Senior Night, the last home game of the season, but that would not happen for the Lakeview Gators. They were facing the defending district champions, the Many Tigers. The Gators started out on offense with the first possession of the game but after a quick three and out, were forced to punt the ball away to the Tigers who wasted no time taking advantage of the great field position. The Tigers would score on their third play from scrimmage, but missed the extra point making the score 6-0 in favor of the Many Tigers.
The Gators would receive the kickoff for the second possession and after the
second play of the series misfortune struck the Gators as the snap went over the head of quarterback Dwaelon Shepherd and the Tigers recovered the ball on the three-yard line and scored a running touchdown on the second play from scrimmage. The
Tigers would convert on the two-point try making the score 14-0 in favor of the Many Tigers. This trend would continue thought the first half of the game with the score
of 48-0 in favor of the Many Tigers.
The Tigers received the ball to open the second half of the game and wasted no time driving the field capping it off with a 12-yard pass for a touchdown and extra point to make the score 55-0. The Tigers would go on to win the game 68-0.
The Gators still have hope of making it to the playoffs if they can pull out
victories against their next two opponents, the Winnfield
    Tigers and the Bunkie Panthers.
