NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s School of Business will host a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) event on Friday, Nov. 17 at NSU’s main campus in Natchitoches.
“The School of Business will host another CLE event in Natchitoches. This outreach effort was started to assist attorneys in the local and regional areas to obtain their CLE hours in various content areas without having to travel so far to get them,” said Dr. Carmella Parker, event organizer. “We are truly grateful to the legal community for having such a positive response to our efforts. We are so glad that they come and support NSU. This support also includes our speakers who donate their time for the event.”
The event will offer a total of 6 hours, including one for Ethics, one for Professionalism, and one for Law Office Management for attorneys. Accountants are also welcome to attend if courses are required for their certification, Parker said.
The cost for the event is $250, which will include a light lunch. The cost for a single credit hour is $75. The funds raised from this event will go to Northwestern State University’s School of Business Director’s Fund.
