Congratulations to Peter and Minnie Metoyer on their 50th wedding anniversary. Congratulations to Rosaline LaCour and Anthony Parker on their marriage. The couple married at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at 4 p.m. A reception followed in the church hall. Tommy and Kathie Roque spend the weekend visiting their son, Tommy Jr., and wife Anna, and children, Sydney and T3, in Baton Rouge.
St. Anne’s fundraiser will be Saturday, Nov. 11 from 5-9 p.m. with gumbo, meat pies, hot tamales and much more. Bingo will begin at 6 p.m. There will be a raffle for $200 to be given away that night. The tickets are on sale now. There will be a Blue Mass Friday, Nov. 3 at 12:05 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Alexandria. Law enforcement officers, firefighters and medical emergency providers are invited to be honored guests. The Mass is open to the public.
