Rutledge Plumbing employees began replacing a water line Monday at the corner of Second and St. Denis Streets. Director of Public Works Michael Braxton said replacing the aging pipe was a preventative measure that should only take a couple of days to complete. Motorists should use caution or avoid the area if possible.
