Monday Nov. 6

Well, another Matkin has killed a deer.  Blake and his dad, Brad, and brother, Raegan, went hunting last week and Blake killed a small buck.  Five Matkins have hunted and each of them has brought in a deer plus one pig.  The pig was stuffed and smoked by Brad and Bro. Roger last Saturday.  Connie said this was the first wild pig she had eaten and to her surprise, it was delicious.

Congratulations to that family for having productive hunts.  Red Colston has confidence in them because he welded a nice gambrel for them to hang their kills on to dress out. There will be a Veterans Day Program at Provencal Jr. High School Friday, Nov. 10 at 1:15 p.m. in the new gym.  Veterans are welcome. The Associational WMU meeting will be at Old Bethel Baptist Church Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. Come see and hear about missions.  Bellwood Baptist Church is serving breakfast before Sunday School Sunday, Nov. 12 at 9 a.m.

Come join us for great food, great fellowship and great Bible teaching as they study God’s word together and then stay for great worship. Bellwood Baptist Church will have a Thanksgiving meal on Sunday, Nov. 19 after morning service.
