Natchitoches Leadership Through Athletics (NLTA) is a non-profit sports awareness effort for Natchitoches Parish student athletes. The community based group recognized several parish football players as Players-of-the-Week during this football season. Players were chosen through performance and statistical data. Lakeview, Natchitoches Central and St. Mary’s players were given certificates of recognition acknowledging their contribution and gift certificates from Raising Canes, Sonic University Parkway and Super 1 University. The 2016 football season was the inaugural period for the program.
