A service to honor the life of Mr. Frank Everet Rhodes will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Boyd and Bro. Ralph Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Frank, 78, and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2017. He was born Aug. 16, 1939, to Otis and Ola Rhodes in Robeline.
He retired as a supervisor from Northwestern State University after 33 years of service in the maintenance department.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pearlie Rhodes; and siblings, Clifton Rhodes, Harvey Rhodes, Larry Rhodes, Betty Jo Lester and Lucille Gremillion.
He is survived his daughters, Connie White and husband Mark and Annette Allen and husband Bruce; two sisters, Rose Shills and Gladys Opal Schmidt; and a long-time companion, Sherrie Carney. He was blessed with four grandchildren, Megan White, Cady White and fiancé Craig Caskey, Timothy Allen and wife Whitney and Joshua Allen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Darryl Pardue, Craig Caskey, Mike Breedlove, Henry Beasley, Ricky McCallister and Chris Fulton.
Paul Culbert will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
