Lakeview Jr.-Sr. High School the band director Denise Roper was one of six music teachers recognized for “25 Years of Service” at the Louisiana Music Educators Association convention in Baton Rouge Nov. 20. In addition to this honor, Roper was one of the educators nominated for the “Bandmaster of the Year” Award by the Louisiana Bandmasters Association.
