Funeral service for Rocky Lane LaCaze will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Burial will follow at Bay Springs Cemetery in Chopin. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
Rocky, 53, and a resident of Indian Bayou passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, in Lafayette. He was born Dec. 30, 1963, to Phillip LaCaze and Doretha Rachal LaCaze.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his children, Meagan LaCaze, Brittney Freeman and husband Lance, Derrick LaCaze and Morgan LaCaze; his mother, Doretha LaCaze; grandchildren, Jeremy Jacobs, Jayden Easley, Ayla Bowers, Taylor Freeman, Arabella LaPrairie, Kian LaPrairie, Nichole LaCaze and Kimber Conque; siblings, Rodney LaCaze, Janet Lopresto, Ricky LaCaze, Beverly Meche, Richard LaCaze and Wayne Feazell, whom he considered a brother.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Derrick LaCaze, Jeremy Jacobs, Wayne Feazell, Jason LaCaze, Lance Freeman and Rob Niette.
