A hard freeze warning is in effect from midnight tonight through 10 a.m. Thursday for all of the Ark-La-Tex.

Timing and Overview:

The arctic air mass will remain in place through tonight, with a weak cold front moving through the region later this afternoon and evening, reinforcing the cold and dry air in place. As a result, temperatures are expected to drop back into the teens to near 20 degrees over much of the region once again late tonight.

Until then, those areas of Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, and Southwest Arkansas that have been below freezing (since Sunday) should finally see several hours of above freezing temperatures this afternoon, before temperatures fall below 32 degrees again this evening.
