MidSouth Bank announced it will close its Robeline and Natchitoches North locations and transfer the accounts from them to its other two branches in Natchitoches, located on Royal Street and Hwy. 6 (Sibley Lake). This change will take place at the close of business March 29.
Customers are encouraged to use any of MidSouth Bank’s more than 40 locations in Louisiana and Texas, where employees will be happy to assist them in setting up eBanking options such as online and mobile banking, goDeposit and smart phone payment options.
“Closing a location is never an easy decision to make because of the potential impact to our employees and customers,” said MidSouth Bank President and CEO Jim McLemore, “which is why we are working diligently to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved.”
The bank aims to retain as many employees as possible — which means customers will likely see the same friendly faces they have come to know working in other areas.
“We are committed to the Natchitoches and Sabine Parish markets and look forward to participating and supporting community events and organizations throughout these communities,” said Regional President Rhonda Jones.
In addition to the banking center network, the bank will continue to have an extended-hour Call Center as well as offices for Risk Management, Facilities, Accounting and Loan Operations in these parishes.
MidSouth Bank also has an experienced Commercial Lending and Small Business Team seeking new opportunities in these markets and the surrounding areas.
