NPSO released the following statement on their Facebook page.
“We re deeply saddened to hear the news this morning of former Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Beaudion being killed in the line of duty in a single-vehicle crash early this morning while working for Monroe Police in Monroe. Officer Beaudion began his law enforcement career at the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office assigned to the Patrol Division and transferred to Monroe Police in 2016. Sheriff Victor Jones and the deputies of the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office extend our thoughts and prayers to the Monroe Police Department, and family and friends of Officer Chris Beaudion. Chris will always be remembered by his family at the NPSO as a kind compassionate officer always with a smile, willing to learn and help anyone. Officer Beaudion is survived by his wife, two children and immediate family.”
Arrangments will be announced by Monroe Police at a later time.
