The Krewe of Dionysos Mardi Gras Parade will be Saturday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m.
Participants such as bands, dance groups, floats, trailers, riders, motorcycles and car clubs are needed. Contact Chuck Morgan at 903-926-4354 to enter the parade. The parade participation form can be found at kreweofdionysos.org.
The parade will consist of super floats, music and 220,000 beads, 25,000 cups, 6,000 Frisbees, 4,800 specialty beads, 4,800 footballs and 14,400 plush toys will be thrown.
The Mardi Gras Parade will start at 6 p.m. at the River South Common shopping center parking lot, turning right onto South Drive to Keyser Avenue, turning left at the Keyser Avenue, crossing the bridge and turning right on Jefferson Street to Front Street to Washington Street, turning left onto Texas Street and turning left onto Second Street to Church Street to end the parade route.
