All Parish offices will close at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 16, and remain closed through Wednesday, Jan. 17 due to the extreme wet weather and low temperature conditions.
All Head Start centers in Natchitoches and DeSoto Parishes are closed today and will be closed tomorrow. Parents and guardians of our Head Start children are asked to keep the children home or make other arrangements for their care tomorrow.
The Parish Public Works department will have employees on standby to address road problems as they may occur.
All citizens are encouraged to avoid driving, if possible, and to exercise caution when crossing bridges.
