Northwestern State University student Shelbi Rials of Pine Prairie made her way to class Thursday despite bitterly cold temperatures and snow on the ground on the first day of spring 2018 semester. University officials are expecting another enrollment increase at NSU this spring. Students can sign up for spring classes through Jan. 26 by going to my.nsula.edu.
