A service to honor the life of Joy Faye (Dowden) Cockrum was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 at Kisatchie Baptist Church in Kisatchie with Bro. Rickey Robertson officiating. Burial followed at Kisatchie Cemetery.
Joy, 65, and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, in Natchitoches. She was born Oct. 1, 1952, to Donald Glenn Dowden and Nella Faye (Babb) Dowden in Natchitoches.
