A memorial service to honor the life of DeEtte “D.” Wilkinson Tomka will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at Trinity Episcopal Church located at 533 Second St., Natchitoches. Entombment will be at the Trinity Bell Tower Columbarium. A reception following the services will be in the Parish Hall.
D., as she known to by her friends, was born Feb. 16, 1944, in Shreveport to Dr. William Emmet Wilkinson Jr. and Evelyn Mahaffey Wilkinson. On Jan. 24, 2018, she left her earthly life, peacefully, with her daughter Caroline by her side.
