The NSU Trumpet Studio Ensemble and NSU Euphonium- Tuba Ensemble will present a recital Thursday, April 12 at 6 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. Galindo Rodriguez is conductor of the NSU Trumpet Studio Ensemble and Dr. Masahito Kuroda is conductor of the Euphonium- Tuba Ensemble.
The Trumpet Studio Ensemble will play “Canzon” from “Paduaba, Galliarda, etc. Hamburg” by Samuel Scheidt, “Fanfare for a Great Teacher by Eric Ewazen, “Suite for Five Trumpets” by Ronald LoPresti and “Fired Up!” by David A. Roth.
The Euphonium- Tuba Ensemble will perform “Toccata for Euphonium Tuba Quartet” by John Schooley, “Galliard Battalia” by Scheidt and arranged by K. Friedrich, “Celestial Suite – The Second Quartet for Low Brass” by Stephen Bulla and Movement I from “Symphony No. 1” by Ludwig von Beethoven arranged by Bryan Doughty.
