He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years, Iris Nell; parents, Joe and Cleo Glover; sister, Esther Roberts; grandson, Michael Roberts; and son-in-law, Bill Smith.

He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn and husband Gerald Roberts, Norma and husband David Neuman, Dawn Smith widow of Bill, and Iris Julie and husband Richard Allen; brother, Johnny Glover and wife Joyce; two special sisters-in-law, Maxine and Ruth Fielder; a special nephew, Jerry Johnson and wife Diana; and a special niece, Dianne Fielder Gore; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.  He was blessed with seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
