By Marco Clark, exclusive to the Times The Lady Chiefs celebrated senior night with a victory over crosstown rival, the Lady Tigers of St. Mary’s. The Lady Chiefs took an early lead and never looked backed winning the game 11-6. Shaylynn Hargis and Kristine McQuillin provided scoring early and often in the contest. Madison Holmes led the Lady Chiefs on defense while going the distance pitching a complete game. She struck out five Lady Tigers while leaving four on base to close out the game. This win will build confidence in the Lady Chiefs as they prepare for the remainder of their schedule with hopes of making the playoffs.
