Funeral services for Carolyn Sue Adams, 64, of Campti will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 18 at Davis Springs Southern Methodist Church with Bro. Olan McLaren officiating. Interment will follow in Davis Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Davis Springs Southern Methodist Church. Services under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home, Coushatta.
Mrs. Adams was born Nov. 2, 1953, in Campti and passed away April 13, 2018.
Carolyn loved her church and her church family and especially enjoyed the trips to Branson with them. Her favorite pastime was shopping. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Zelia Dickson; and one brother, Wayne Dickson. Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband of 47 years, Johnny Adams of Campti; four sons, Johnny Ray Adams and wife Audrea of Bellwood, Johnny Marvin Adams Jr. of Campti, Hartwell Douglas Adams and wife Kristin of Natchitoches and James Adams of Natchitoches; one daughter, Constance Faye Cole of Coushatta; one brother, Ronnie Laurent of Montgomery; two sisters, Barbara Phillips of Clarence and Linda Jackson of Campti; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Larry Holman, George “Cogger” Carney, Drew Moseley, Ronald Dale “Pep” Smith, James Caskey and James Adams.
