Funeral services for Ms. Florence Lee Allen will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 at First Baptist Church of Montgomery with THE Rev. Lloyd Whitman officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Cemetery, Montgomery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Ms. Allen, 88, of Natchitoches, entered eternal rest Monday, April 30, 2018, in her residence.
Lee was a member of First Baptist Church of Montgomery. She was a retired merchant, where she was owner and operator of Western Auto of Montgomery for over 35 years. She enjoyed family and traveling and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ms. Allen is preceded in death by her parents, George and Eva Lewis; her husband, Conley Kermit Allen; five brothers; and two sisters.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her daughters, Marcia Fletcher and husband Dan of Montgomery and Sandra Allen of Natchitoches; her sons, Joe G. Allen and wife Genevieve of Natchitoches, and Bruce Allen and wife Annette of Natchitoches; her brother, Rayburn “Buddy” Lewis of Shreveport; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Timothy Allen, Joshua Allen, Michael Cameron, Jason Cameron, Von Gilcrease and Billy Lewis.
Visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Montgomery Tuesday, May 1 from 5-8 p.m. and will resume Wednesday May 2 from noon until time of service.
