She was predeceased by her parents, Carman and Christelle Roberts; and a son, Robert E. Porter Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Porter of Natchez; children, Jeffrey Porter and wife Kathleen of Albuquerque, NM, and Suzanne Porter Sharpe and husband Robin of Bosque Farms, NM; a sister, Judith S. Golemon and husband James of Provencal; a daughter in law, Diane Porter of Las Lunas, NM; and a special friend and caretaker, Rose Gistarb.  She was blessed with five grandchildren, Brandon Porter, Shannon Irwin, Molly Sharpe, Gavin Sharpe and Erin Sharpe; as well as one great-grandchild, Emelia Irwin.
