Monday, May 14 The Marthaville PTO and Student Council made Teacher Appreciation Week one of the very best.  Monday, the teachers were greeted with banners and donuts.  Student Council moms “salad-uted” them with a variety of salads for lunch and again on Tuesday with a nacho bar because they are “Nacho Average Teachers.”

Wednesday, they were treated to mini-massages and the 4-H Club moms served a baked potato bar, “This spud is for you!”  Thursday, 4-H Clover Bud moms showed them how “souper” they were and provided them with soups and such.  Friday, the PTO provided a Mexican lunch and the FCA provided an ice cream sundae bar. I would like to give credit to the Marthaville PTO.  Misty Rodrigues, Mandy Pearson, Kelly Mitchell, Stacy and Phillip Strahan are the Marthaville PTO. They form a small group that has big ideas and work for the school and teachers and it does not go unnoticed.

Pre-K and Kindergarten classes hosted “muffins with moms” Friday.  Student Council members served muffins, strawberries and fruit salad to moms in Pre-K and kindergarten.  The students gave plaques of their handprints and a book with question about their moms they answered.    Eighth grade graduation will be Friday and the last day at school will be May 23.
