Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Detectives are currently searching for a Natchitoches man considered armed and dangerous wanted in connection with the shooting death of Brian Keith Williams Jr., on Monday afternoon according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr.

Deputies are currently looking for 26-year-old Quincy Dewayne Nash, aka/Flame, Race/B, Sex/M, Hgt/506, Wgt/140, Hair/Black, Eyes/Brown with a last known address in the 900 block of Dixie Street, Natchitoches, La.

Nash is wanted by the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office for Second Degree Murder.

On Monday afternoon June 4 at approximately 5:39pm, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 911 reports of a disturbance with shots fired near the 100 block of Boston Fowler Road off of La. Hwy 6 East near Natchitoches, La.

Deputies assigned to the NPSO Patrol Division, Criminal Investigations Division, Louisiana State Police, Natchitoches Parish Coroner’s Office, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS, Natchitoches Parish District Attorney Billy Joe Harrington and Agents with the Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force responded to the scene.

Responding deputies discovered deceased 32-year-old Brian Keith Williams Jr., of Natchitoches lying on Rex Waterwell Road suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene by the Natchitoches Parish Coroner’s Office.

An autopsy was completed this morning to determine the cause of death.

According to Chief Investigator Greg Dunn, several detectives with assistance from patrol deputies processed the crime scene, gathered evidence, executed search warrants and interviewed possible suspects and witnesses throughout the night until early this morning.

As a result, detectives identified Quincy Nash as the suspect in the shooting investigation.

Nash left the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Deputies searched several locations in the Natchitoches area during the night but were unable to locate Nash.

Detectives established sufficient evidence and probable cause to secure a criminal warrant for the arrest of Nash signed by a Tenth Judicial District Court Judge.

Nash has a prior criminal history including weapons violations.

Detectives ask that if you see Quincy Nash, do not approach him, but to contact the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-352-6432, 911 or your local law enforcement agency.

Nash has been entered into the National Crime Information Center Database as a Wanted Person for Murder.
