Faster network speeds, enhanced cyber security, and the latest technology features are now available to CP-Tel customers thanks to a system upgrade. The CP-Tel Next Generation Network Upgrade project was a major modernization effort over the last year that consisted of building a new Multi Hundred Gigabit core transmission fabric to provide high-speed enhanced Internet, Voice and HD Video Streaming. This upgrade also provides advanced cyber security threat protection capabilities and redundant switching and routing for improved reliability. CP-Tel Network Engineers worked directly with Cisco and CCI Systems on the Network Design and the Deployment of the Next-Gen Network (NGN) upgrade. The Cisco ASR9000 Series Routers at both the core and edge will provide CP-Tel with a robust feature-rich platform capable of delivering advanced Ethernet, Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) and IP based Services to CP-Tel’s customers.
In addition to routing and switching features provided by the Next-Gen Network, Firewall Solutions, Intrusion Prevention and Advanced Malware Protection services will provide additional protection from cyber threats.
