Master Gardeners meeting is June 13

Honeybees are fascinating creatures. If you would like to learn more about bees and beekeeping, join the Master Gardeners of Natchitoches Parish Wednesday, June 13 at 560 Second St. in Natchitoches.

Their guest speakers are Johnny Ray Adams, a fourth generation beekeeper, and his wife Audrea from Honey River Farms/Adams Apiary and Farm. Attend the business meeting to learn more about what your Master Gardeners are doing in Natchitoches Parish or just join them for the presentation.

Refreshments are at 9:30 a.m., the meeting is at 10 a.m. and the presentation begins at 11 a.m. The Louisiana Master Gardener Program is a volunteer development program offered by the LSU AgCenter. Master Gardeners are highly trained and provide proven, research-based educational programs to Louisiana residents.
