A water aerobics class will be offered by Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education beginning Tuesday, July 3.
The class will be taught from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Robert Wilson Recreation Complex through July 31. The fee is $45.
Water aerobics is a workout that consists of simple low-impact exercises executed in the water. The program is designed to promote and maintain cardio-respiratory fitness, strengthen muscles and improve flexibility. The program is especially recommended for arthritic and/or pregnant women.
