On 6/26/2018 at 3:15 P.M., NPD Patrol Shift B officers were dispatched to 536 Keyser Avenue (Posey’s Sports Center) in reference to a felony theft at 3:15 p.m. June 26.
On June 20 at 11:05 a.m., an unidentified male entered the business and asked for a quote on clothing. While employees were working, the male removed seven baseball bats from the store valued at $2,100. He concealed the bats by stuffing them in his pants.
He gave the name of Chris Michaels and a hometown of Opelousas to employees. At this time, this identification information cannot be confirmed as truthful.
