NATCHITOCHES – Northwestern State University’s School of Education is offering free Praxis Core preparation seminars and group mathematics tutoring at the Teacher Education Center Room C105. A schedule is as follows.
Reading seminar: Tuesday, July 10, 10 a.m.-noon
Mathematics seminar: Wednesday, July 11, 10 a.m.-noon
Writing seminar: Friday, July 13, 10 a.m.-noon
Mathematics group tutoring: Tuesday, July 17, 10 a.m.-noon
Mathematics group tutoring: Wednesday, July 18, 1-3 p.m.
The free seminars will provide current and potential students with test taking strategies and an overview of the content included in Praxis Core tests. The group tutoring sessions for Core Mathematics are designed for participants to have their questions answered in an informal setting by a math teacher. Interested candidates can stop by for a few minutes or stay for the entire session.
