A service to honor the life of Mrs. Mary Louise Roe Norman was at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 1 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with the Rev. John Elliott officiating. Burial followed at Lambertown Cemetery in Robeline.
Louise, 74, and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away June 28, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 8, 1943, to William Ira Roe and Rosa Mae Jordan Roe in Natchitoches.
She was a loving wife, mother and sister and will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Norman; parents, William Ira and Rosa Mae Roe; and her siblings, Geneva Jordan Brian, Claudine Roe Womack, Hazel Roe Green, Jim A. Roe, James Roe, Otho Roe and Early Eli Jordan.
She is survived by her children, Sheila Roberts and husband Marty and Marcus Roe all of Natchitoches; siblings, Carolyn LaRoux of Hattiesburg, Miss., Plez William Roe of McNeil, Miss., Ray “Cooter” Jordan Jr. of Provencal; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Plez Roe, Jheff Womack, Ken Chisholm, Ted Singletary, Matthew Butler and Cindy Womack.
Honorary pallbearer was Jonah Brian.
