Funeral service to remember the life of Terrell Carl Scott Jr. will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Mike McGrath and Bro. Tommy Rush officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 at the funeral home.
Terrell, 53, and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, in Shreveport. Terrell was born July 18, 1965, to Terrell Scott Sr. and Joy Geter Scott in Natchitoches.
He worked in North Dakota for Sunland pipeline and also as an electrician at NSU. He loved music and especially listening to his daughter play music. During his spare time, he was an avid reader, enjoyed drawing and fishing. His most valued moments were spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten by those who loved him.
He is survived by his children, Carlee Scott and Whitt Scott, both of Natchitoches; his parents, Terrell and Joy Scott of Natchitoches; sisters, Jessica Franklin of Texas, Sheryl Kelsey and husband Robert of Clarence, and Michelle Riddle and husband Chris of Goldonna; his former wife and friend, Kelly Scott; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Julius and Lillian Scott of Natchitoches; and maternal grandparents, Edward and Lena Milstead of Natchitoches.
