A two vehicle accident on the Hwy 1 (South Drive) bridge near Delacroix Plantation and Shop-A-Lott has the bridge down to one lane.
A white passenger car crossed the center line into the path of a southbound black Kia passenger car. One person from the Kia was transported by private vehicle with mild/moderate injuries. The person was checked at the scene by EMS and it was determined ambulance transport was not needed.
Avoid this area if possible. Expect delays.
The bridge will reopen once the cars are towed. Tow trucks are on scene.
