DOTD advise that LA 6, Natchitoches Parish, will is closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done at milepost 54.390 and is on control section 034-06. The closure will be Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 6 a.m.-7 p.m.
The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the ties thru the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 6 to US 71 to LA 480 to LA 486 to LA 6. The detour can accept oversized loads and will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
