As a part of the Northwestern-Gramblng football weekend, a “cook-off” contest will be Sept. 8 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the football practice field-tailgate area.
NSU’s director of athletics Greg Burke and Grambling’s athletic director Paul Bryant Sr. will serve as celebrity chefs for the fan driven event. Chicken and spare ribs will be the featured items for cooking and judged for prizes.
The entry fee is $25 per person.
