Peggy, 84, a resident of Bellwood, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 in Shreveport with her family by her side.

She was born Aug. 10, 1934 to Robert Arthur Bolton and Emma Darcy Hyatt Bolton in Bellwood.  She was reunited in heaven with her parents; her first husband, Charles Edward Brian; her second husband, Clifton Junior Lindsey; her siblings, Robert Oscar Botlon, Ralph Louis Bolton, George Dewayne Bolton, Chester Lynn Bolton, Rosa Dolan, Edith Bolton, Ovada Carter, Dorothy Mitchell and Willie Richardson; and a grandson, Cain Brian.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Bo Brian, David Brian and wife Roxanne, James Darrell Brian and wife Tammie, and Martha Flathers and husband Rick; siblings, Velva Colston and husband Dewayne and Nelda Faye Bolton. She was blessed with 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, as well as three great-great grandchildren, with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Peggy held the noblest job of all; she was a homemaker that took pride in raising her family.  She enjoyed canning vegetables from the garden and was an excellent seamstress.  Her love for her family was only shadowed by the love for her Savior, Jesus Christ.  She spent countless hours being a prayer warrior and spending time studying God’s word.  Every year she would read her bible from beginning to end and always found new revelation from his word.  She will be dearly missed but we take comfort in knowing on Wednesday night she heard her name being read from the Lamb’s Book of Life and she received her eternal reward.
