Etta Aselyn Culver, 75, of Orange, Texas, passed away Sept. 17, 2018, in Orange. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 21 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Chaplain Dave Lee Darbyshire. Burial will be at Union Baptist Cemetery in Quitman, La., following the service at approximately 4 p.m. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20 at Claybar Funeral Home.
Born in Eagan, Tenn., June 17, 1943, she was the daughter of Titus E. St. Andry and Jocelyn (Adkins) St. Andry. She loved to spend her time crocheting everything, specifically baby blankets, reading and watching judge shows. She was a very sociable person who had a big heart and would give the shirt off of her back to anyone who needed it, giving until it hurt. She will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Odie Earl Culver; and children, Titus Culver, Amanda Elizabeth Culver and Enoch Anthony Culver.
She is survived by her children, Lynn Bedgood and husband Roger of Natchitoches, Lori Darbyshire and husband Dave of Spanish Fort, Ala., Julie Wallace and husband Mike of Natchitoches, Emily Rebecca Kitchens and husband Reece of Austin, Texas, Thomas Culver of Tennessee, Eric Culver of Vidor, Texas, Hughie Culver of Orange, Ethan Matthew Culver of Big Spring, Texas, and Aaron Eli Culver of Orange; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, John Troquille of Houston and Glen St. Andry of Natchitoches; sisters, Shanda Florane of Coushatta, and Vivian Brown, Cynthia Lucky and Tammy Raynes, all of Natchitoches.
