The Natchitoches Art Guild and Gallery hosted the Juried Art Show at the gallery Saturday, Sept. 22. Usually hosting the Juried Art Auction this time of year, the guild decided to host an art show this year instead, open to members only.
There were four merit awards given and one Best in Show award winner. They are, merit award winners Sheila White, Linda Lyles, Elaine Echels and Lucretia Glorioso and Best in Show winner Linda Lyles. This year’s art show also saw the inclusion of a children’s art competition.
The three winners, in the Elementary School Division, Junior High School Division and High School Division, each received a $50 gift certificate to Michael’s. They were Gia Golecki (High School Division), Lindsey Purvis (Junior High School Division) and Cora Scribner (Elementary School Division).
