DANIEL RYDER JR.

886

NATCHITOCHES, LA

Oct. 25, 1973-Sept. 30, 2018

Loyal son, father and friend to the end.

Daniel Edward Ryder Jr., 44, of Natchitoches passed at his home Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018.  Daniel was born Oct. 25, 1973 in Alexandria to Daniel Edward Ryder Sr. and Betty Campbell Ryder of Marthaville.

Daniel worked until his last day with us, even after he got sick. You couldn’t keep him still and he was always getting into something, even as a child. Daniel was always the first in line to help anyone who needed it. He was a jack of all trades. Daniel loved to fish more than anything. It gave him a peace of mind he couldn’t get from anything else. Daniel had the biggest heart, even though he could be the toughest when needed. Daniel would do whatever it took to take care of his family.

He will be missed and loved by many.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father and sister, Shonda Ryder.

He had five children, Daniel Ryder III, Chelsea Ryder, Kristen Ryder, and Skylar and Tyler Ryder; and two grandchildren, Alixsondra Grace and Abron Jace with his former wife, Layna Jones.

Daniel will be laid to rest in his hometown of Deville.
