Mayor Lee Posey has appointed Liz Knecht as Interim Finance Director after the announcement of Finance Director Patrick Jones’ acceptance as Chief Financial Officer at Northwestern State University.
The City of Natchitoches will be advertising for the Finance Director position as required by city ordinance and the recommend applicant will be approved by the Natchitoches City Council.
Knecht comes to the City with a background in accounting as a Louisiana Licensed Certified Public Accountant and with prior auditing experience as the Director of Internal Audit for Northwestern State University.
