St. Mary’s students were recognized in morning prayer Tuesday, Oct. 2 for the Virtue of the Month, Charity. Students are selected by teachers for displaying acts of charity.
Second graders Kollyns Duhon and Sydney Culotta, were recognized for their charitable efforts over the summer. The two friends ran a lemonade stand and donated over $1,000 to the Shriner’s hospital in Shreveport, where Duhon has been a patient since age two.
