NATCHITOCHES – The Office of Electronic and Continuing Education at Northwestern State University is offering a course for aspiring authors on Oct. 16 and 18. The class will be held on the second floor of South Hall from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The fee is $99.

The course “How to Get Your Novel Published” is a guide to being traditionally published and provides instruction on self-publishing. The class will take participants through each step necessary on their quest to become traditionally published. From the art of the query letter, to finding the right agent, to signing with the right house with a few tricks of the trade thrown in.
