Detectives searching for Texas man wanted in connection with illegal use of credit card; suspect has ties to Sabine Parish

***UPDATE*** NPSO reports Gandy is in custody. He turned himself in Oct. 19.  

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a Texas man with ties to the Many area of Sabine Parish wanted in connection with the illegal use of a  Natchitoches company credit card .

Detectives assigned to the NPSO High Tech Crime Unit issued a law enforcement alert to Texas authorities for Richard Scott Gandy, 37, w/m, 6 feet, 6 inches, 190 pounds, with dark brown or black hair and brown eyes of the 200 block of Duncan Road in Marshall.

Gandy is wanted on outstanding criminal warrants signed by a Tenth Judicial District Court Judge for 109-counts of Illegal Transmission of Monetary Funds over $16,000.

Detectives spoke with Gandy on three occasions by phone and asked him to come in and speak with them but he has failed to do so.

Detectives ask if you see Gandy, to contact the NPSO at 318-352-6432 or your local law enforcement agency.

Gandy has been entered into the National Crime Information Center as a Wanted Person.
