The NCHS swim team competed at Centenary College in the second North Louisiana High School Swim Meet Wednesday, Oct. 10.
Chiefs swimmer and LSMSA student Andrew Yen qualified for the LHSAA State Meet with his fifth place swim in the 200 individual medley.
Several swimmers competing swam personal bests including Derrick Anderson, Alyssa Broadway, Hunter Broadway, Trey McDowell, Alex Moran, Jack Nicholson, Tyler Nichols, Rebekah Rodriguez and Dane Steadman.
Point winners for the Chiefs were Derrick Anderson (12), Alyssa Broadway (31), Jack Nicholson (9), Tyler Nichols (13), Dane Steadman (11) and Andrew Yen (29).
